Items Observed: exterior shear wall connections and holdown strapping
Notes:
Observations indicate the exterior shear wall connections and holdowns are in substantial
conformance with the plans as noted above.

Mr. Rowell:
As requested, Earth Engineering Company, Inc. (EEC) personnel have completed the construction
observation services you requested for the referenced project. Those services included observations of
the foundation drain placement and damp proofing at the referenced lot. The results of those observations
are included with this report.
On February 20°i, 2019, EEC personnel observed the foundation drain for the referenced project. The
foundation drain consisted of 4-inch perforated pipe bedded in gravel placed around the exterior and
interior of the structure and was sloped to drain to a sump pit in the crawlspace of each unit. The gravel
was covered in a filter fabric. The damp proofing consisted of a grey spray -on coating that appeared to
cover all exterior below grade areas of the crawlspace walls. At the time of our observations, the
foundation drain and damp proofing appeared to have been placed in general accordance with the
construction plans

Items Observed: footing and foundation wall sizes and reinforcing, UFER ground
Notes:
Observations indicate the footing and foundation sizes and reinforcing are in substantial
conformance with the plans as noted above. In addition the UFER grounds were installed in
accordance with NEC recommendations.
