The perimeter drain consists of 4-inch perforated PVC placed around the exterior perimeter of the basement. The drain appeared to have positive drainage towards two sump pits located near the southeast wall of unit F and southwest corner of unit A wall of the basement. The pipe was surrounded by pea gravel. Filter fabric had been placed over the gravel. The installation of the • perimeter drain appeared to be in general accordance with project plans and specifications. We also observed that damp proofing had been applied to the below grade foundation. The placement of rebar reinforcement within the east half of the foundation wall for units D, E and F appeared to be in general accordance with the project plans and specifications: Additionally, we observed that UFER grounding rebar was incorporated within the foundation wall.
