This summary letter does not include site improvements associated with flatwork, sidewalks, curb -and -gutter and other elements not associated with the building addition/structural related items. Detailed summaries of the observation and testing services provided by EEC during the referenced period were submitted to your attention in periodic summary reports (EEC project number 1 ] 74162); those reports should be referenced for completeness and can be provided to you if requested. This summary report is not intended to supersede the contents of those periodic summary reports. The services provided by EEC during the referenced period generally included the following: • foundation over excavation observations and/or foundation bearing observations • compaction testing —footing over excavation backfill, and foundation wall backfill • observations of slab -on -grade preparation • cast -in -place concrete reinforcing steel observations —foundation footings, stem walls, piers, grade beams, and slab -on -grade • foundation damp -proofing and insulation observations 4396 GREENFIELD DRIVE WINDSOR, COLORADO 80550 (9 70) 545 -390 8 FAX (970)663-0282 Earth Engineering Consultants. EEC Project No. 1174162 July l 1, 2018 Page 2 • cast -in -place concrete testing — foundation footings, stem walls, piers, grade beams, and slab -on -grade • structural steel —shop inspection, structural connections Our review of foundation over excavation and/or foundation bearing observations indicates the building addition/structural related subgrades were prepared generally consistent with the project subsurface explorationrreport. Review of the compaction test results indicates, in general, the field density test results rnet the project compaction criteria. Review of observations for slab -on - grade preparation indicates, in general, the slab -on -grade was prepared in general accordance with project plans. Review of reinforcing steel observed indicates the reinforcing steel observed was placed in general accordance with the identified project plans and Ms. Review of foundation damp -proofing and insulation observation indicates they were prepared/installed in general accordance with the project plans/specifications. Structural steel observations appeared to meet the project details/specifications and Ms. The concrete compression test results met the required 28-day compressive strength criteria.
