I have reviewed your plans for the installation of a minimum of three shipping containers to be
located on the north side of the building at 1415 Blue Spruce Drive, between the building and
Bristlecone Drive. The containers are 8'-0" wide, 40'-0" long, 9'-6" tall, weigh an estimated 8,000
pounds empty, and will be used for only for storage.
The shipping containers will be stacked directly next to each other, sharing the 40-foot side, with
the operable door endlfacing west. The units will sit level on a built-up up pad of either road base
or recycled asphalt with the base frame of the container in contact with this pad for its entire
footprint.
Utilizing the 2015 IBC,and a 129 mph V it wind speed, exposure C, the containers do not require an
anchorage device to resist the code prescribed wind loads.
