BuJfdings A. A2 and B wh1ct1 all include a 13R spnnkler, also include a 2·hour wall in three lo~uons. We
have used the prescnpt1ve method of the IBClnduded 1n 7.21and7.22 tosupportadditlonal design /
assembly options In doing so we are auregaong the prescnbed Fire Resistance m minutes to a surn

Buildings C 15 a duplex building with the two dwelling units separated by two separate garages or
approximately 24'. Per our local amendments, a duplex 1s required to include a P29 fire sprinkler
system. In lieu of the P29 system, we propose a 2-hour wall d1v1d1ng the building into two halves.
Again, we have used the prescriptive method of the IBC included in 7.21 and 7 22 to support our
assembly options
