The city is requesting a letter about the welding done on the 2nd story concrete patio They want it from the "welding
engineer" Is that you?

There is no structural FIELD welding specified for this project in my plans to be observed
The edge angles atop the end tube at the west and east ends of deck was the only welding called out on this project and it
is specified as a SHOP weld (of course - they would not want to send personnel out just to do this simple weld in the
field)
