The following items were commented on the City of Fort Collins framing observation
:' The rafters over the bay planed out to intersect the wall and not over the roof. The ledger
detail used for the remained of the roof cover should be used for this area No posting is
required
• The 3'-4" joist cantilever on the deck joists has an adequate back span It is only, required to
have a 2-1 back span not a 4.1
Is The deck beam splices were not located over bearing points See the attached detail for the
deck beam strengthening
