Plan review for: Permit #B1600121, 602 Buckingham St.
Project description: Construction of new building for medical office bldg
Date comments sent to applicant: 3/7/2016
Below are the items I need submitted as corrections/revisions for plan review approval. Do not
submit entire new sets of plans, just the sheets that have corrections. Current adopted code: 2012
International Building Code.
B occupancy, V-B construction type, not fire -sprinkled:
1. Provide an architectural site plan showing distance of building to property lines and to
other buildings. Be advised if this building is closer than 60ft to the other buildings on
this site it must be fire -sprinkled to maintain the un-limited area used by those existing
buildings.
2. The building wall section and insulation does not match the comcheck. Provide
correction.
3. Need verification the structural plans meet 100B nominal or 129 Vult wind load. Plans
show 100C to ASCE 7-10 and if using that standard must be 129 Vult min.
4. Provide SIP panel specs showing r-value and structural info showing the panels can span
5ft as shown on plans.
5. Exposed wood ceiling must meet a interior finish flame/smoke rating of class C per
section 803.
6. Why is mech equipment not shown on the mech room plans?
7. What material is used for the exterior wall air barrier?
8. Submit a. construction waste recycling plan showing how concrete, wood, metal, and
cardboard will be recycled. List who will pick up material and what facility they are
taken to.

BUILDING AND PLAN REVIEW FEES
For Residential Over the Counter Type Permits
Residential gas logs, wood stoves, air conditioning, furnace replacements, underground sprinklers, water heaters, and
electrical service change are $25 per appliance plus City and County use tax.
Use the Building Permit Fee WO/Subs for Over the Counter type permits In the Building -Combination Estimate of Fees
below (those that do not have a Flat $25 permit fee). The Building Permit Fee W/Subs Is applicable for fees associated
with all other permit types. City and County use taxes apply to both tables.
THERE IS NO PLAN CHECK FEE ON SIGN PERMITS (REGARDLESS OF THEIR VALUATION), AND
THERE IS NO PLAN CHECK FEE FOR VALUATIONS UP TO AND INCLUDING $3,000 ON ANY
PERMIT TYPE.
