On May 2, 2016, Earth Engineering Company, Inc. (EEC) personnel provided construction observation services you requested for the referenced project. Those services included observation of the placement of the interior basement pads. The basement footing pads were approximately 24 inches by 24 inches wide by 8 inches thick and 32 inches by 46 inches wide by 8 inches thick. Four #5 bars were placed horizontally each way in the 24 inch square pad. Five #5 bars were placed horizontally and eight #5 bars were placed *transversely in the 32 inch by 46 inch pad. At the time of our observations, the dimensions and reinforcement met or exceeded the specifications on the plans prepared by Realarchitecture Ltd. On February 23, 2016, Earth Engineering Company, Inc. (EEC) personnel provided construction observation services you requested for the referenced project. Those services included observation of the grade beam reinforcing for the western detached garage prior to the placement of cast -in -place concrete. Two #4 horizontal rebar were placed in the grade beams at the top and bottom of the exterior grade beam walls at various locations. The center interior grade beam reinforcing consisted of two #4 bars running the length of the grade beam. Lap lengths were checked and appeared to meet the minimum required lengths. (EEC) personnel provided construction observation services you requested for the referenced project. Those services included observation of the grade beam reinforcing for the center and eastern detached garages prior to the placement of cast -in - place concrete. Two #4 horizontal rebars were placed in the grade beams at the top and bottom of the exterior grade beam walls. The center interior grade beam at the center garage consisted of two #4 bars running the length of the grade beam. Lap lengths were checked and appeared to meet the minimum required lengths.
