Mountain Ave. Fort Collins, CO 80521 RE: Footer Inspection Letter 440 Circle Drive Fort Collins, CO 80524 QE Project No. 6296-001 Dear Mr. Obermann: At your request, a representative of Quality Engineering was present at the above referenced address to observe and document footing and foundation wall formwork and reinforcement on May 4, 2016. The formwork and reinforcement that we inspected is in compliance with the direction, details, and specifications of the plans, dated February 29, 2016 with the exceptions noted: The spread footing between the two garage doors was specified as an 8"x24" footing and was not 24" wide at the time of the inspection. Quality Engineering verified load requirements for the foundation and requested that a 30"x30"x8" pad be poured underneath the 3'/2"x7%2" LSL post. Since these changes have been made, the footing and foundation wall formwork and reinforcement have been constructed in compliance with no exceptions noted. Quality Engineering, LLC has only visually inspected the items noted above. We have not performed an in-depth;load analysis on all portions of the structure. It is possible that structural defects exist as a result'of items that were not inspected or that were not visible. No warrantee is either expressed or implied.
