We had an Inspector stop by the other day because we had an inquire about duct work extending
outside the garage wall. It appears that you have all of the documentation from the State, Health
Department and The City of Fort Collins for your occupation. The problem is I can not seem to
find any permits for the sinks, roasters and grinders that are present. The Chief Building Official
also has a concern about the propane storage in the garage (this may actually fall under the Fire
Department). The Chief Building Official has talked with the Plan Review Supervisor and they
are leaning towards letting you take out an over the counter permit for the equipment installation.
The only possible issue would be you being able to come up with the equipment specifications
for the inspection process. Please give me a call and I can walk you through this with more
information.
