(970) G22-9'.~24 808 Ridge Runner and 3474 Yule Trail Drive Lots 1 and 2, Block 4, Trailhead Subdivision Fort Collins, CO Project Number: 15-098-31 Dear Mr. Moskal: RECEIVED JUL 1 4 Z015 Today, a representative of this office visited the site referenced above to observe the footing form widths, depths, and reinforcement. The continuous and isolated footing widths and depths were in general compliance with the foundation drawing by T2 Structural Engineering, project number: 15-098, dated May 6, 2015. The dowel reinforcement was on site and the spacing will be confirmed with the foundation wall observation. There were four Ufer bars installed in the footing. The first Ufer bar is located in the north garage approximately 4-feet back from the east (back) garage wall. The second Ufer bar is located in the north basement foundation wall approximately 2-feet back from the west (front) basement foundation wall. The third Ufer bar is located in the south garage approximately 4-feet back from the east (back) garage wall. The fourth Ufer bar is located in the south basement foundation wall approximately 2-feet back from the west (front) basement foundation wall. Protect freshly placed concrete from temperatures that will compromise the design strength of the concrete. Concrete placement and reinforcement is to be installed in accordance with ACI 318 and IRC. The reinforcement appeared to be in general compliance with the retaining wall drawing and details by T2 Structural Engineering, project number: 15-098, dated May 6, . 2015. Please note that the ufer was in the footing. Protect freshly placed concrete from temperatures that will compromise the design strength of the concrete. Colorado 8L)~37 (1ffice, (970) GG:q;o I G. fax, (970) 622-~l:-124 Perimeter Drain and Damp-proofing Observation The Fort Collins Twin 808 Ridge Runner Drive and 3474 Yule Drive Lot 1 and 2, Block 4, Trailhead Subdivision Fort Collin, CO Project Number: 15-098-31 Dear Mr. Moskal: RECEIVED JUL 2 8 2015 Today, this office visited the site referenced above to observe the perimeter drain and the damp- proofing of the exterior foundation walls that retain earth and enclose habitable or usable spaces located below grade. The perforated pipe was bedded in gravel with geo-tech fabric over the pipe. Sump pits were located on the interior side of the foundation walls. The exterior perimeter drain pipes should drain toward and be connected to the respective sump pits. The damp-proofing appeared to adequately cover the foundation walls. The damp-proofing application is used to help reduce moisture that can permeate through the foundation wall. Damp-proofing is effective in the absence of hydrostatic pressure and cracks in the foundation. It is important to keep vegetation that requires watering out of the backfill area of the foundation excavation. Sincerely, Enclosures mbd Thank
