Mr. Teplitsky:
Soilogic, Inc. personnel have completed the foundation footing and wall steel observation
you requested for the referenced project. The results of those observations are included
with this report.
On June 29, 2005, Soilogic personnel observed the strip footing and interior column pad
dimensions and reinforcing steel placed for the interior column pads for the referenced
residence. he strip footings were measured at approximately 12, 16, 18 and 20 inches in
width. The interior column pads were measured at approximately 18, 20, 22 and 24
inches square. The reinforcing steel placed for the interior column pads consisted of #5
bars spaced at approximately 12 inches on center in both directions. At the time of our
site visit, the strip footing and column pad widths and placed reinforcing steel observed
appeared to be in general compliance with the construction plans. (Advanced

On July 6, 2005, Soilogic personnel observed the reinforcing steel placed for the
foundation walls and counter -forts for the referenced residence. The reinforcing steel
placed for the garage stem -walls consisted of two #5 bars placed continuously at the top
and bottom of the walls. The reinforcing steel placed for the baseman walls consisted of
two #5 bars placed continuously at the top, middle and hottenr of the walls with one #5
bar placed midway between the top and middle run and between the middle and bottom
run. The reinforcing steel placed for the counter -forts consisted of #5 bars placed at 12

inches on center in both directions. The reinforcing steel placed for the basement
window penetrations consisted of two #5 bars placed at the top, bottom and sides of the
window frame with diagonal bars placed at each of the four (4) window corners. The lap
lengths, spacing and coverage distances observed appeared to meet minimum
requirements. At the time of our site visit, the reinforcing steel observed appeared to
have been placed in general compliance with the construction plans. (Advanced
