RE: Hamre Residence Foundation Compliance Letter
Larsen Structural Design Project No.1833
Mr. Toll:
Our records indicate that during the course of construction, we visited the job site three (3) times.
The dates of these observations were June 24, 2014 to review the footings for the garage addition
and its reinforcement. We also viewed the piers and reinforcement at the front porch renovation.
On June 25th, 2014, we viewed the reinforcement for the stem walls of the garage addition
foundation. On July 15th, we viewed the reinforcement for the slab on ground at the garage
addition and the remaining piers and their reinforcement at the south end of the existing house. In
addition, the interior footings in the existing south portion of the house were observed. These
visits were made to observe the work on the structural foundations of the building and were made
at your request. We reported to you our findings of these observations when corrective action if
any was required.
Based on these specific site observations, the structural foundation elements of the building
appear to be in substantial accordance to the construction documents. We did not review any of
the site soil conditions or the wood framing associated with the project.
