Our project files indicated the concrete cylinders cast on June 20, 2014 (concrete ticket no.
K114722) did not make the 28-day specified strength of 5,000 psi until 56-days and that the
concrete cylinders cast on June 20, 2014 (concrete ticket no. K114723), only made 93% of the 28-
day specified strength of 5,000 psi at 28-days and 98% at 56-days.
Our project files also indicated the mortar specimens cast on July 1, 2014 only made 96% of
the 28-day specified strength of 1,500 psi at 28-days.
In addition, we were not requested to re -inspect the outstanding discrepancies from our
weld/bolt report dated August 1, 2014; however, it is our understanding that the engineer of record
performed a re -inspection of these areas.
