(970) 622-9324 The Fort Collins Twin II 902 and 908 Ridge Runner Drive Lots 1 and 2, Block 3, Trailhead Subdivision Fort Collins, Colorado MAY 2 3 i014 Project Number: 13-199-31 Dear Mr. Moskal: E,14-0091 S Lc�eT to tz.�a�r� On May 15, 2014, a representative of this office visited the site referenced above to observe the footing form widths, depths, and reinforcement. The continuous and isolated footing widths and depths were in general compliance with the foundation drawing by T 2Structural Engineering, project number: 13-199, dated January 27, 2014. The reinforcement for the interior pads was ready to be placed in the footing forms. The dowel reinforcement was on site and the spacing will be confirmed with the foundation wall observation. There are four ufer bars. The first ufer bar was located in the north basement foundation wall approximately 2-feet from the front face of the basement wall. The second ufer was located in the south basement foundation wall approximately 2-feet from the front face of the basement wall. The third ufer bar was located in the north side of the garage foundation wall approximately 2-feet 3-inches from the east side of the garage foundation wall. The forth ufer was located in the south side of the garage foundation wall approximately 2-feet 3-inches from the front of the garage foundation wall. The ufer bars were lapped and tied to the continuous bottom row of reinforcing steel. Protect freshly placed concrete from temperatures that will compromise the design strength of the concrete. Concrete placement and reinforcement is to be installed in accordance with ACI 318 and IRC. Please contact this office if there are questions, or if additional information is required. Colorado Project Number: 13-199-33 Dear Mr. Moskal: On May 27. 2014. this office visited the site referenced above to observe the perimeter drain and the damp -proofing of the exterior foundation walls that retain earth and enclose habitable or usable spaces located below grade. The perforated pipe was bedded in gravel with building paper over the pipe. Sump pits were located on the interior side of the foundation walls for each half of the duplex. The exterior perimeter drain pipe should drain towards and he connected to tlx: sump pits. The damp -proofing appeared ur adequately cover the foundation walls. The damp -proofing application is used to help reduce moisture that can permeate through the foundation wall. Damp -proofing is effective in the absence of hydrostatic pressure and cracks in the foundation. It is important to keep vegetation that requires watering out of the backfill area of the foundation excavation.
