Prospect Rd. in Fort Collins, Colorado, have been reviewed by this department. The following items in bold were not clearly specified in the plans or were not in compliance with the Colorado Retail Food Establishment Rules and Regulations. These items must be clearly specified in writing or be modified to be in compliance with the above regulations prior to approval of the submitted plans. The plans are approved at this time. PLEASE NOTE: This letter contains important information and advisements for the construction of the establishment. Establishment owners are responsible for items noted in this letter. Please share this letter with all involved parties, including the . construction superintendent and contractors at the construction site. If there are any questions regarding information in this letter or anything else related to the construction and operation of the establishment, please call at (970) 498-6785. Equipment, Cleaning, and Accessibility: 12. Grocery display refrigeration units and display freezers located at the front of the service areas and in the island service areas must be neatly sealed in place to the floors, adjoining equipment and to walls. Toe kicks or kick plates on these units must be removable in order to facilitate cleaning the floors under them. • The following equipment will be required to be on casters, on six inch sanitary legs, or neatly sealed in place: open air display cooler (#211)and display ice cream freezer (#102). Please submit information on how these pieces of equipment will be installed. Information provided. Casters will be provided on the open air display cooler per resubmittal 6121112. Skirting will be provided on the display ice cream freezer per resubmittal 6121112. No Text y� t�� b) Exposed structure ceiling located over the back room (ware washing, storage) is not approved. Submit information on a smooth, non-absorbent, durable and easily cleanable ceiling surface for areas where open foods are handled and where equipment and utensils are washed (back room). Per resubmittal 6/21/12, lay-in tile will be installed in the back room. Specification have been provided. c) Please submit information on the type of ceiling tiles to be located over the open food areas in the merchandise area. Ceiling tiles must be smooth, non- absorbent , durable and easily cleanable (i.e. vinyl coated tiles). Received specifications on ceiling to be used in this area. � In addition to the $100 plan review application fee paid at the time the plans were submitted for review, a review fee is assessed for the actual review time. The review ' .. fee is assessed at a rate of$44 per hour. Currently review cost for this project is -• $297.00 . Please be advised, before the department can give any approval for operation all plan review fees must be paid.
