Dear Mr. Everitt:
Yesterday, on March 29, 2012, a representative of this office visited the site referenced above to
observe the foundation wall reinforcement size, and location and to confirm the vertical
reinforcement spacing in foundation forms for both the house and the detached garage. The
reinforcement appeared to be in general compliance with the foundation drawing and details by
T2 Structural Engineering, project number: 12-015, dated March 23, 2012.
There was a Ufer bar located on the east side of the house approximately two feet towards the
north from the front basement wall. The Ufer bar was lapped and tied to the cf ntinuous bottom
row of reinforcing steel.
Protect freshly placed concrete from temperatures that will compromise the design strength of
the concrete. Concrete placement and reinforcement is to be installed in accordance with ACI
318 and the 2006 IRC.
