Re: Structural roof repair observation at the Quinn
.residence at 1172 Cobblestone Court, Ft. Collins
Dear Mr. Arends:
On this date, I returned to the above address for the
purpose of inspecting the reinforcement: work as specified
in the Structural Roof Framing Evaluation Report dated
October 7, 2011. The repairs as designed were installed
satisfactorily.
It. is my opinion .that the existing roof framing will
be able to support any new concrete tile shingle having a
maximum dead load of 11.0 psf now that the additional
reinforcement specified in the aforementioned report has
been satisfactorily installed, provided that the existing
shingles are completely stripped off and provided that the
new shingles are installed according to their manufact=
urer's specifications.
