As requested, requested, Earth Engineering Company, Inc. (EEC) personnel have completed the construction
observation services you requested for the referenced project. Those services included observations of
the foundation drain placement and damp proofing at the referenced address. The results of those
observations are included with this report.
On September 23, 201 1, EEC personnel observed the foundation drain for the referenced project. The
foundation drain consisted of 4-inch perforated pipe bedded in gravel around the below grade exterior
perimeter of the structure and was connected to basement sump pits located in the east and west end
units. The gravel was covered with filter fabric. The damp proofing consisted of a grey spray -on
coating that appeared to cover all exterior below grade living areas of the basement walls.
