On August 1, 2013, a representative of Northern Colorado Geotech performed a drilled pier
observation for a residence under construction at the above referenced address in Fort Collins,
Colorado.
The drilled piers were observed for pier diameter, length, bearing strata, plumb, and condition. We
observed piers along the southeast corner of basement. Piers were observed to be 12-inch diameter
and 35 feet in length at the locations observed. Groundwater was encountered during the drilling, and
placement of concrete was accomplished by means of a concrete pump truck as each pier was
drilled. It is our opinion that the drilled piers we observed were constructed in general accordance
with the geotechnical engineering report recommendations (Northern Colorado Geotech Project
No.063-11, dated September 5, 2012).

Dear Mr. Tschetter:
On September 19, 2013 we visually observed the foundation wall reinforcing placed in the forms
for the residence being constructed at the above referenced site. It is our opinion the reinforcement
was in general conformance with our Foundation Plan, Project Number 1771-01-05A, and our
recommendations for field modifications as required by site conditions.
We also observed the UFER ground rod was embedded in the concrete at the south wall of the
foundation.
The conclusions presented in this letter are not intended to cover structural items other than those
listed, site grading/elevations, setbacks, subsurface soil conditions, or architectural features of the

On October 3, 2013 we visually observed the exterior perimeter drain and damp proofing for the
residence being constructed at the above referenced site. It is our opinion the perimeter drain is in
general conformance with the soils report by Northern Colorado Geotech, Project Number 063-11,
dated September 5, 2012.
The conclusions presented in this letter are not intended to cover items other than those listed, site
grading/elevations, setbacks, subsurface soil conditions, structural, or architectural features of the
