Re: 215 N. College, Fort Collins, CO - Asbestos Survey Report (CEH: 2286.09)
Dear Mr. Paulson:
The following report serves to document our limited material sampling at the residence
located at 215 N. College, Fort Collins, CO on August 4th, 2009. As per your request,
James Dennison of Century Environmental Hygiene, LLC (CEH) collected samples of
specified materials at the above location. The following materials from the indicated
locations were analyzed by an NVLAP accredited lab for asbestos content.

*Note: One sample of the brick paint contained a layer of what the lab referred to as a
black sealant under the paint. This was not observed in the other two samples of paint off
brick, so is evidently sporadic. The sealant may be some kind of a damp -proofing type of
material. As such, it is likely a non -friable asbestos material and there are no regulatory
requirements under Regulation 8 provided that less than 160 SF of materials is going to
be disturbed. Otherwise, the general extent of the material would have to be determined
via additional sampling.
Roofing sealant (tar -like) material was also sampled and one of two samples contained
asbestos. Therefore, the roofing tar is asbestos containing and is regulated as a non -
friable ACM.
Please note that the scope of the inspection only included testing for asbestos materials
and no other hazards such as lead based paint, radon, mold or otherwise were included.
The testing that was requested was only for the indicated location(s) and no testing of
