Please alow my parents, Ernest James a.k.a. Jim and Lucinda Marie Scott, to get a building permit for the
basement of my house. I am currently deployed and will be for the next several months. I typically try
to provide a power of atorney for these kinds of things while I am gone, but I wasn't anticipating my retired
parents beoming board and needing a project and a reason to escape the great white north. Be warned, this is
the kind of thing that happens when you fail to provide your parents with grandchildren to fill their time with.

To get a building permit for the basement remodel they have asked that you authorize me to represent
you in the process via an email.
You probably should include your home address, your full name, that you are talking about the
basement remodel, why you can't do this yourself (they seem favorable to bending the rules for deployed
