As requested, we have performed a limited visual observation of a basement window at the above
referenced residence The purpose of our observation was to try to determine the feasibility of
creating a deeper and wider opening to achieve code egress requirements The window is located
in the southeast room of the basement of the residence
Based on our observation it is our opinion that small sections of concrete can be removed from the
sides and bottom of the existing window opening of the foundation wall without affecting the
performance of the remaining foundation wall
