On January 12 2010 a representative of Northern Colorado Geotech performed an excavation
observation for a clubhouse building under construction at the above referenced site in Fort Collins
Colorado
The soil exposed at the upper level footing consisted of sandy lean clay These materials are similar
to those encountered by Northern Colorado Geotech during our subsurface exploration at the site
(Project No 024 09 dated March 31 2009) Based on our observations and the recommendations of
the geotechnical engineering report it is our opinion that the proposed structure may be supported by
a spread footing foundation system The foundation should be designed in accordance with the
recommendations and specifications provided in the geotechnical engineering report
