HomeMy WebLinkAbout830 Maple St - Special Inspections/Engineering - 09/16/2009T-2 Structural Engineering 1;29 Fast Seventh Sheet Loveland Colot tdo 80-37 Office (970)G63-G016 Fax (970)622 9924 September 16, 2009 Jamestown Builders LLC 3003 East Harmony Road, 4th Floor Fort Collins, CO 80528 Foundation Reinforcement Observation at the House and Detached Garage Lot 23, Block 293, West Addition 830 Maple Street Fort Collins, Colorado Project Number 09-014-011-32 Dear Mr Everitt On September 15 2009 this office visited the site referenced above to observe the foundation wall reinforcement size, and location and to confirm the dowel spacing in foundation forms at the house and detached garage The reinforcement appeared to be in general compliance with the foundation drawing and details by T2 Structural Engineering, project number 09-14-011, dated June 24, 2009 There were three Ufer bars The Ufer bar on the detach garage was on the east wall approximately fourteen feet towards the south of the front garage wall The other two Ufer bars were located on the east full height foundation wall on the house One Ufer bar was approximately five feet towards the south of the northern wall and the other Uffer bar was approximately four feet towards the north of the southern wall The Ufer bars were lapped and tied to the continuous bottom row of reinforcing steel Protect freshly placed concrete from temperatures that will compromise the design strength of the concrete Concrete placement and reinforcement is to be installed in accordance with ACI 318 and the 2006 IRC Please contact this office if there are questions, or additional information that is required Thank you for the opportunity to work with you on this project Sincerely, ospn0 VCF� Susan Tagg, P E €P 1 6 2— a 0 Enclosures t��'S10"vAt.�'° _- `' ' s .� t.� �,•, _ ..
