A representative of Terracon Consultants, Inc. (Terrracon) observed drilled pier
construction at the subject site on February 4, 2009. The purpose of these services was
to confirm that drilled piers were approximately 21-inches and 24-inches in diameter and
approximately 2.5 feet and 3.8 feet deep (respectively), as requested. A total of twelve
(12) drilled piers were observed.
It should be noted that our observation services were performed on an as -requested
basis, and only when requested by the above -listed client or their designated
representative. Terracon's services do not include surveying of the locations or
elevations of foundations elements. We offer no opinion regarding materials and/or
construction not observed by Terracon representatives. This letter is provided solely for
the benefit for the above -listed client and does not impact in any way the rights and
obligations of third parties, including contractors and subcontractors who may have
provided the materials and/or construction services tested or observed.
