A representative of Terracon observed the basement and garage slabs at the above referenced
address on December 27, 2004. Our observations indicate the following features are in general
accordance with Melody Homes floor slab specifications prepared for the site. 1) Minimum 3-
inch void spaces constructed in nonbearing walls, 2) positive separations and/or isolation joints
between the slab and foundation walls, columns and plumbing and 3) control joints in the slab.
In our opinion the floor slabs were constructed in general accordance with the plans and
specifications for this project.
