Dear Mr. Backlund:
A representative of Terracon observed masonry construction activities for the above referenced
address in Fort Collins, Colorado, between September 8 and 30, 2004, as requested. The
observations were performed at the locations and elevations as indicated on the attached daily
Masonry Observation forms.
Observations made during the site visits include, but were not limited to the following items:
1. Grout placement.
2. Steel reinforcing placements.
3. Mortar joint construction.
4. Cleanness of cells to be grouted.
5. Consolidation of grout.
6. Bond beam construction.
7. Additional items as referenced on the Masonry Observation form.

In our opinion, the masonry construction observed on the dates and times referenced has been
completed in general accordance with the project plans and specifications. Any exceptions
observed, were noted on the attached daily Masonry Observation forms. It is recommended that
the Project Engineer of record review the observation reports for meeting the project designers
requirements.
