Subject: Foundation Damp Proofing and Perimeter Drain System
Date: March 28, 2004 (2:00 pm) Weather: Seasonal
OBSERVATIONS
Sprayed on foundation damp proofing was noted as being applied to the exterior of all foundation
walls adjacent to below grade interior spaces. This damp proofing appeared to be consistent and
uniform.
Noted the presence of flexible perforated drainpipe surrounding the perimeter of the foundation.
Segments appeared to be properly jointed and attached, with a connection to an interior sump pit.
Observations were made prior to the placement of the gravel bed and any backfill.
FIELD INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN
Complete the installation of the perimeter drain system (i. e., gravel bed andfabric) in accordance
with the detail provided in the foundation plan for this residence.
