Dear Mr. Roark.,
This letter is in regards to a deck that is being built at the above referenced address. On
04 /08/2004 you were issued a. Stop Work Order and a Building Code 'Violation for the
deck construction as the Permit #B0102893 has expired. After there was no response
ftom you another Building Code Violation was issued on 05/10/2004. Again there has
been no response from you and our records show no active permit for the deck
construction. Construction of a deck without an active permit and allowing a permit to
expire without completion is in violation of the 1997 Uniform Building Code Section .
106.1 adopted by the City of Fort Collins.
Larimer County Records Department lists you as the current owner of the above
referenced property. Enclosed is a summons to appear in Municipal Court for the
violation stated above. Court date is set for 9:30 a.m. on 8/23/2004 at which time you
will be able to explain to the court why you have not complied. If you have any
questions regarding this matter you may call the City of Fort Collins Building
Department at 221-6760,
