January 16, 2003 Bronsert Construction 3500 Bomar Avenue Loveland, Colorado 80537 Project No: 1092-82-01-05 Gentlemen: consulting engineers On January 13, 2003, a representative of Scott, Cox & Associates, Inc. visually observed the perimeter drain system and damp -proofing for the new residence under construction at Lot 20, Westbrooke 2nd, (1403 Sheep Creek Court), a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. We observed that the partially constructed drain system consisted of perforated corrugated flexible polyethylene pipe, set outside of the foundation walls. The drain appeared to be located below the footing level and is to discharge to an interior sump pit. We observed that the damp -proofing consisted of polyvinyl acetate or similar spray -on coating. It appeared that the damp -proofing coating adequately covered the foundation wall. As a result of our observations, it is our opinion that the drainage system and damp -proofing were in general conformance with the plans and specifications.
