HomeMy WebLinkAbout1508 Sea Wolf Ct - Special Inspections/Engineering - 11/17/2003Z La v� SCOTT, COX & ASSOCIATES, INC. consulting engineers November 17, 2003 US Home Corporation 2695 West Eisenhower, Suite 230 Loveland, Colorado 80537 Project No:2250-39-82-03 Gentlemen: On November 13, 2003, a representative of Scott, Cox & Associates, inc. visually observed the perimeter drain system and damp -proofing for the new residence under construction at Lot 173, Registry Ridge 3rd, (1508 Sea Wolf Court), a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. We observed that the completed drain system consisted of perforated rigid PVC pipe surrounded by gravel, overlying a plastic liner, set outside of the foundation wall. The drain appeared to be located below the top of pier level and is to discharge to an interior sump pit. We observed that the damp -proofing consisted of asphaltic spray -on coating. It appeared that the damp -proofing coating adequately covered the foundation wall. In addition we observed that the void forms for the foundation walls were intact. As a result of our observations, it is our opinion that the drainage system and damp -proofing were in general conformance with the plans and specifications.
