SUBJECT: Inspection of Caisson Drilling for Lot M5, Rigden Farms Subdivision,
(2739 Chase Dr.), Larimer County, Colorado.
REFERENCES: CDS Project No. 02-2021
OBSERVATIONS: The drilling operation for twenty-three (23) of the sixty-eight (68) caissons for
the above referenced proposed triplex was inspected. The caissons were located on the basement of
the proposed residence. These caissons met the specifications for minimum depth, minimum
penetration, and diameter as shown on the foundation plan provided by CDS Engineering
Corporation. The caissons were relatively clean and no groundwater was encountered.
Placement of the concrete and rebar into the caissons was also observed. This operation was found
to be in accordance with good construction practice and in accordance with the engineer's
specifications.
