Monitoring by Terracon was provided at the direction of Tuscany Properties/Jeakins Construction, LLC on an .,as requested" basis. Terracon services generally consisted of observation of foundation footing excavations "open -hole", foundation size, reinforcing steel, damp -proofing, drains and concrete testing. Our foundation observation services on the project building utilized the project specifications and the recommendations in the "Geotechnical Engineering Report", dated December 26, 2000, Project No. 20005257 and the "Soil and Groundwater Profile Analysis — Geotechnical Engineering Report -Revision No. 1", dated December 12, 2001, Project No. 20005257. Foundation Excavation Terracon provided observation of the foundation bearing soils, in conjunction with the footing observations, as requested during construction. A summary of the observations and structural review response items were provided in written reports upon completion. Per Terracon's geotechnical report and observations performed, footing foundation has been placed in general accordance with the plans and specifications and were placed on the anticipated bearing material identified in our geotechnical report. Foundation Footing, Wall, and Slab Reinforcinq Steel Terracon provided reinforcing steel placement observation in structural concrete placements as requested. The observations performed were observed to be in compliance per the provided plans and specifications for the project and have been formally reported to the client and designated parties. It is recommended that the project structural engineer review the test reports for acceptance as meeting the project criteria.
