Nfike Sutton, we have provided the following inspections at the above referenced address: 1. On April 18, 2003 we inspected the footing form sizes and steel reinforcement, prior to the placement of concrete 2. On April 21, 2003 we inspected the steel reinforcement within the foundation wall forms, prior to the placement of concrete. 3.On May 3, 2003 we inspected the foundation wall damp proofing and perimeter drain system, prior to the placement of backfill material. new inspections consisted of visual observations and measurements to confirm that the footing form widths and depths, steel reinforcement, foundation wall steel reinforcement, foundation wall damp proofing and perimeter drain system were in general conformance with the approved plans completed by Straight Line Design, Inc., job #03-380, dated Mach 14, 2003. Upon completion of each inspection, we have determined that all requirements pertaining to the inspections have met or exceeded our recommendations_ Please feel free to contact our office if you bave any questions or concerns. Fort Collins; CO 80524 Re: open Excavation Inspection !�Z 3 —.AM North Loomis Street Fort Collins, CO April 15, 2003 Mr. Sutton, Per Your request, we have provided an inspection at the above referenced address. The purpose of this inspection was to verify that the exposed soil within the excavation are consistent with those anticipated on the approved foundation plan completed by Straight Line Design, Inc_ job 003-390, dated March 14, 2003. The excavation was approximately 5`-6" (maximum) in depth beneath original grade. The exposed material consisted of approximately 2'-0" of dark brown topsoil with light brown to reddish brown colored, very sandy clay, with gravel- The soil was slightly moist at the time of our inspection and consisted oflow plasticity material . The encountered material is generally the same that was anticipated on the above referenced foundation plan. Therefore, we recommend that the footing and foundation system designed for the residence should be installed as specified on the plans.
