RE: Canopy Design for the Patterson Building at 1240 W. Elizabeth, Fort Collins, Colorado
Dear Mr. Stark:
We have performed calculations as necessary to determine the requirements for pipe as a column extension
for the two canopy support beams over the front entry of the above referenced building. Our calculations
indicate your proposed use of a 2-inch diameter Schedule 40 pipe will be sufficient. The length of this
proposed extension should not exceed 18 inches in length.
