We have recently been asked to provide a summary of the construction observation and
testing services performed for the referenced building. An outline of the testing
completed is included with this letter.
As you are aware, Earth Engineering Consultants, Inc. (EEC) personnel observed and
tested overlot grading materials, installation backfill and site concrete on a part-time on
call basis during the various operations. A portion of the "overlot grading" was
completed to develop the building pads for the individual structures. Backfill for utilities
installed within the building area was tested as a part of the utility installation backfill.
The final test results for the overlot grading (subgrade) and utility backfill materials met
the project compaction and moisture requirements for the materials being prepared or
placed. The concrete tested on this project included concrete placed as a part of the
building post -tensioned slab -on -grade foundation/floor system. The concrete test results
met the project specification for compressive strength. The specific test results for the
outlined test items were provided at two week intervals during site construction.
