On June 11, 2003, Earth Engineering Consultants, Inc. (EEC) personnel provided
construction observation services you requested for the referenced project. Those services
included observation of the garage grade beam steel reinforcement prior to concrete
placement. Anchor bolts with a diameter of 1/2 inch were placed at 2 feet on center along
the length of the walls. Two continuous #5 rebar were placed horizontally along the top
of the east, west and south walls. At the time of our observations, it appeared that the
anchor bolts were placed in general accordance with the plans and specifications for the
referenced project.
