A representative of Terracon observed the perimeter drain at the above referenced lot on August
14, 2003, as requested. A four -inch diameter perforated PVC pipe underlain by a PVC impervious
liner material had been placed around the exterior perimeter of the basement foundation. The
drainage pipe appeared to exhibit positive drainage toward the sump pit located within the basement
area. We also observed 3/ to 1-inch washed gravel placed above and below the pipe and drainage
filter fabric placed above the gravel. The waterproof dampening was also observed and in our
opinion was uniformly applied to the exterior foundations.
In our opinion the exterior perimeter drain was constructed in general accordance with the plans and
specifications for this project.
