COMMENTS:
Blower Door test completed on 2757 Canby Way (Rigden Farm), Fort Collins,
CO 80525 on 29 January 2003 for builder, G.A. Holter Construction.
Subject is raised ranch style home (basement windows mostly above grade)
with basement finished except mechancal room. Basement ceiling height is
7.75 feet, most of main level is 9 feet, with entry and great room at
11 foot ceiling height. Subject has hot water heat, central air, 2 x 6
exterior wall construction with R-19 fiberglass batts in walls, and a
whole house fan (currently without cover).
Subject measured at 7.68 air changes per hour at 50 Pascals pressure. Since
the City's threshold for air infiltration is 5.00 ac/hr at that pressure,
subject does not pass the City's air infiltration standard. Suggest
covering the whole house fan and retesting.
