Gentlemen:
On December 10, 2002, Weeks & Associates observed the foundation excavation at the
referenced site as requested. Observations indicate the soil at the foundation level is sandy
lean clay. The soil is similar to those described in the Subsurface Exploration Report for the site
by Earth Engineering Consultants, Inc., Project No. 1932009, which indicates the use of a
spread footing foundation system.
