Dear Mr. Bartel:
A representative of Terracon observed the footing and slab on -grade construction for the above
referenced address on July 9 and 11, 2003, as requested.
Observations made during the foundation construction included the slab on -grade subbase
material and wire mesh placement and the foundation footing sizes and steel placements. We
also observed the insulation placement beneath the garage slab and footings and on the
exterior foundations of the residence for providing frost protection. The slab -on grade and
footing foundation system sizes and steel reinforcement placements were in general
accordance with the plans for this project.
