A representative of Terracon observed the perimeter drain at the above referenced address on
August 18, 2003, as requested. A four -inch diameter perforated PVC pipe had been placed around
the exterior perimeter of the basement and crawl -space foundations with an impervious PVC
membrane beneath the drainage system. The drainage pipe appeared to exhibit positive drainage
toward the sump pit located within the basement area. We also observed 11/2 inch washed gravel
placed above and below the pipe and drainage filter fabric above the gravel. The waterproof
dampening was also observed and in our opinion was uniformly applied to the exterior foundations.
In our opinion the exterior perimeter drain was constructed in general accordance with the plans and
specifications for this project.
