Gentlemen:
On February 27, 2003, a representative of Scott, Cox & Associates, Inc. visually observed the
perimeter drain system and damp -proofing for the new residence under construction at Lot 87, The
Ponds at Overland Trail, (1433 Catalpa Court),a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado.
We observed that the completed drain system consisted of perforated corrugated flexible
polyethylene pipe surrounded by gravel, set inside of the foundation walls. The drain appeared to
be located at the footing level and is to discharge to an interior sump pit.
The foundation was backfilled prior to our observations. We observed from the exposed areas that
the damp -proofing consisted of polyvinyl acetate or similar spray -on coating.
