We have reviewed the foundation oplan for the above -referenced residence. It is our understanding
that the trusses running front to back behind the garage bear on the rear garage foundation and
cantilever out 6-0" to the front. This, in our opinion, eliminates the need for the W 12x 16 altogether.
The contractor, however, used a W 1 Ox 12 steel beam. This may be left in place.
