Gentlemen:
On February 6 & February 9, 1999, we visually observed the excavation at Lot 45, Seina, (2756
Pleasant Valley Road), a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. The purpose ofthis observation was
to verify that the soil conditions encountered in the excavation are generally consistent with those
outlined in the soils report performed by ELI, Job No. 20955084, dated June 131995. This letter
is not intended to be a summary of the t
soils report and does not meet the disclosure requirements of
Colorado Senate Bill 13, 6-6.5-10 1.
Exposed soils indicate the use of a drilled pier and grade beam type foundation system designed in
accordance with the above referenced soils report. No water was encountered to a depth of
approximately severs (7)-fe`t.
We amend that damp -proofing beinstalled at the foundation walls for all below grade, habitable
living areas per 1991 UBC Section 2915.
Due to the measured depth of bedrock below footing elevation, it is our opinion that an exterior
Perimeter drain is required for this structure.
