HomeMy WebLinkAbout2736 Raintree Dr - Correspondence/Zoning - 10/04/1993October 4, 1993 Caroline Chase Eichler, Fayne & Associates 141 East Palace Avenue Santa Fe, New Mexico 87501 Dear Ms. Chase: The property known as Collins West Apartments in Fort Collins is located in the RP (planned residential) zoning district. This zone allows apartment complexes pursuant to the approval of a Planned Unit Development (PUD) plan. The Collins West Apartments plan was approved by the Fort Collins Planning and Zoning Board on July 23, 1984, and it's legal name is "Cimarron West PUD". This PUD authorized construction of 300 dwelling units and a clubhouse/office building and swimming pool. The plan established specific parking, landscaping and density requirements unique to "Cimarron West PUD". The project passed inspections for compliance with the approved PUD plan and other applicable zoning laws and is considered to be a legal conforming use based on current zoning information and ordinances. Enclosed please find copies of certificates of occupancy for the buildings located in "Cimarron West PUD". Historical records indicate that permit #19021 for 2736 Raintree (the clubhouse/office building) was issued on January 27, 1986. For some reason the Building Inspection Department file for 2736 Raintree Drive does not include copies of the original permit nor a copy of the certificate of occupancy. We can only assume that this is a filing error and not indicative of some problem with the building. Therefore, a copy of the certificate_ of occupancy for 2 i-3& Raintree Drive is not included.
