RE: Recommendations for the deck beam for the house to be located on Lot 50,
Hearthfire P.U.D., (3209 Town Country Ct.), City of Fort Collins,
Larimer County, Colorado.

Dear John:
This letter is to follow-up our conversations concerning the above referenced deck. A
maximum 19' span deck beam supporting 12' floor joists with a 2' cantilever was requested.
Calculations show that the deck beam can be (3) 13/47 x 14" Microlam, (2) 1%x 16"
Microlam, or a W8 x 24 steel beam.
