Box 503 Fort Collins, Colorado 80521-0503 (970) 484-0359 Fax: (970) 484-0454 A representative of Terracon observed the perimeter drain construction at the referenced site on May 28, 2002. A four -inch diameter perforated PVC pipe had been placed around the exterior perimeter of the basement foundation. The drainage pipe appeared to exhibit positive drainage toward the sump pump located within the crawl -space area. We also observed 1-1/2 inch washed aggregate placed above and below the pipe. The waterproof dampening of the foundation system was also observed and in our opinion was completed in general accordance with standard residential practices. In our opinion the exterior perimeter drain was constructed in general accordance with the plans and specifications for this project.
